Academic Programme
At Stoke Park School we believe that students should have access to a broad and balanced curriculum. The curriculum has been designed by quality subject specialists and is a seven year journey. Each part of the curriculum builds upon the knowledge and application required of students from their prior knowledge and experience. Within the curriculum, the crucial communication disciplines of each subject are also integrated into our lesson planning to ensure students have the literacy and numeracy tools that are vital to their life chances as well as their academic success.
We have spent a significant amount of time developing the curriculum at the KS3. It is vital that we ensure the curriculum builds the solid and enduring foundations of strong subject knowledge and application and key learning behaviours, whilst exciting and inspiring our young learners.
We offer a range of GCSE and Vocational courses at KS4, including offering a Modern Foreign Language to all students who wish to study it past KS3. At KS5 the offer is widened further with a variety of academic A-level courses being offered.
Alongside the academic curriculum, there is a Personal welfare and behaviour programme which is delivered by the tutor teams each morning and through a variety of events throughout the year.
