Stretch and challenge

Stretch and challenge activities ensure that the learning is matched to the needs of the individuals in the lesson. We run a number of enrichment activities targeting different needs and career aspirations and encourage learning for learning’s sake. We offer a range of university opportunities throughout a student’s school life from Year 6 through to Year 13. We aim to encourage life-long learners.

Students are identified using the information from primary schools and in class assessment and their progress is monitored throughout their time at Stoke Park. We offer a range of extra-curricular activities, this year they have included theatre and museum visits, coaching opportunities and their involvement in a national Stand Up to Hatred campaign. We aim for the higher attaining students to become the leaders of the future and give them the opportunities to develop the necessary skills both in and out of school.
