Stoke Park School is an inner-city 11-19 secondary school in Coventry whose percentage of pupil premium and free school meal students is higher than the national average. The school closed to its main student population in line with the government's Coronavirus mandate on Monday 23 March 2020 due to the national lockdown. From that period, Post 16 students were taught once a week via Microsoft Teams and were given tasks to complete which consolidated their learning throughout this time; students also received feedback from their teachers remotely and during the virtual sessions. Contact was also made through pre-recorded lessons and assemblies to ensure that students stayed focused and informed.
From mid-June, the Year 12s returned for two hours a week for limited bubble sessions which focused on student well-being and allowed students to raise any questions about materials they have been studying. Attendance to the online and in-person bubble sessions ranged from 88 - 95% every week
