he council consists of representatives from each year group, one boy and one girl including the Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputy Head Boy and Deputy Head Girl. Each member of the council has been elected by their peers and they represent the voice of their peers.
Alongside the school council each form has two form representatives that make up each year council. The Student Council and the Year Councils work alongside one other to support and advise one other on the best approaches to improve the school environment.
The council meet on a regular basis to discuss ideas raised both to improve their own school environment and the local community. They present their ideas to the school management team and the governors on behalf of their peers.
The councillors, all agree to maintain the highest standards of behaviour in line with the Consistency Framework. They can be recognised by their Student Council ties.
