We promote a growth-mindset and believe that all our students can succeed given appropriate support, self-belief and challenge. At Stoke Park we are on a journey to becoming an outstanding school, and with just over 1000 students on roll, we are one of the most oversubscribed schools in the area and are proud to say we are a truly inclusive school with much diversity to be celebrated.
Our aim is to provide an excellent education for all the students at Stoke Park. The successful candidate will contribute by utilising their excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills to provide efficient and effective support to the Headteacher’s Office. The role offers interesting and varied work across a number of school functions including governance, policy, admissions, HR and marketing, and will suit a candidate who thrives in a fast paced environment.
Core duties include diary management, receiving internal and external telephone calls, visitors and correspondence, dealing with enquiries, arranging meetings and hospitality and the co-ordination of the school’s admission arrangements.
You will have a minimum of 2 years’ proven experience of successfully carrying out relevant administrative activities along with high level note taking and word processing skills, and will possess both a relevant level 3 qualification and GCSE’s grade C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent)
A flexible approach to working hours is required including occasional work during evenings and school holidays with advance notification. Relevant experience of working in an education context is preferred but not essential.
