Vision & Values

Our school’s ethos, ‘Believe you can achieve at Stoke Park’, and the eight school values play an important role in everyday life. We instill in our students the importance of creating a learning environment that supports all and we have a relentless focus on high standards. We work as a team and we aim to bring out the best in everyone.

We are a values-led school that has a strong sense of purpose in delivering an inclusive education for students in our community. We promote a growth-mindset and believe that all our students can succeed given appropriate support, self-belief and challenge.

The values that we as a staff want to instil in our students are:

Resilience,

Excellence,

Self-belief,

Pride,

Enjoyment,

Care and

Tolerance.

The overarching value being RESPECT and our strap line ‘Believe you can achieve at Stoke Park’ sums up the self-belief and positive can-do attitude we want the students to display.

We are on a journey to becoming an outstanding school and we are committed to improving our outcomes rapidly. We believe there are no short cuts, no excuses and no limits for outstanding learning and outstanding achievement. Our students deserve the very best and we are aiming to instil high aspirations in them and all staff have complete belief in them.

We are fully committed to delivering a broad and balanced curriculum offering academic and vocational experiences matched with outstanding pastoral care; we know how important it is that a young person feels safe and happy and it is through creating the correct environment that high quality learning can take place.

We value our students as individuals and are focused on developing within them a strong moral purpose.Academic success is often the key to unlocking future opportunity for our students and we work hard to ensure that we deliver high quality learning experiences.

Our aim is to provide an excellent education for all the students at Stoke Park.

‘To build a better world we need to replace the patchwork of lucky breaks and arbitrary advantages that today determines success – the fortunate birthdates and the happy accidents of history – with a society that provides opportunity for all.’
